Joselyn Fallas is a young coffee producer from La Chelita Farm, located in Coto Brus, Costa Rica. Through her coffee, she hopes to introduce the beauty and potential of this region to coffee communities around the world.

Although Coto Brus is less internationally recognized than regions such as Tarrazú, it has a rich coffee history and remarkable potential. Joselyn’s family has been producing coffee for more than 50 years, with her grandparents and father dedicating their lives to coffee farming.

After graduating from university, Joselyn returned to La Chelita to continue her family’s coffee legacy and develop her own specialty coffee lots. Through careful cultivation and processing, she focuses on expressing the unique character of Coto Brus while preserving meaningful Costa Rican coffee varieties.

Her signature coffee, Venecia, represents this mission. As a traditional Costa Rican variety with low productivity, Venecia has become increasingly rare. By continuing to grow this variety, Joselyn and her family are helping preserve an important part of Costa Rica’s coffee heritage.

Today, Joselyn continues her journey to share the story of Coto Brus through exceptional coffees and build connections with coffee communities around the world.
