“It’s pitch dark!” says coffee producer Joselyn Fallas.

Inside a humidity-controlled Dark Room, Joselyn slowly dries her coffee, allowing each lot the time it needs to develop.

Inspired by the patience and precision behind her process, Kevin Kim explored Joselyn’s coffee through Lumen Print, translating tasting notes into light, color, and texture.

“With the first sip of Joselyn’s Dark Room, I experienced something completely new. The clean texture and floral notes reminded me of a soft pink color, like a sunny garden full of flowers.”

Together with Minjae Ko, Kevin created a visual interpretation of coffee:
