In February, I received a special gift from Joselyn, a coffee producer I admire greatly: her father's coffee. Hernán Fallas, Joselyn's father, has a name as elegant as his coffee.

It felt like a privilege to start my morning with coffee created by this father-daughter duo. It's always fascinating to taste the same coffee variety processed differently by each of them.

For her father, she is telling you instead of me:

"My father is a strong man who grew up in a large family with 13 siblings. When he was 12 years old, he planted his first coffee plantation under the guidance of my grandfather. Though he didn't finish high school, he's always been very visionary and mathematical, a true family man. He worked hard and endured much; at 18, he lost his father and had to help my grandmother support the family. I admire him immensely—he knows more about coffee than an agricultural engineer and has been my teacher in both business and life."

The beauty of Hernan's story is reflected in the taste of his coffee. Coffee tastes beautiful.

01. We started with the concept of buying exquisite ingredients from the farmers' market. You might have noticed that they don’t wrap unnecessary plastic packaging there.

02. We know how important coffee mood is. We especially love typography-oriented designs. We set our color board in black and white to highlight the color of the farm. While we love packaging design, we hate waste and single-use packaging more.

03. Therefore, we would like to serve coffee in a minimal paper box (with a valve attached to prevent oxidation and maintain quality) while reducing useless plastic packaging.

04. Also, we do not make unnecessary pamphlets and handouts. Hence, all you get will be quality coffee in a simple look functional bag and hand-written letters from the coffee producers.

Please note payment will be processed in Euro Currency.
