“Wait, a dark room like the one that you use to develop film?”

“Yes! Similar in concept. It’s pitch dark!” — Coffee producer ‘Joselyn’ says,

We slowly dry our coffee in a humidity controlled Dark Room, like the one that you use to develop film.”

“It takes over a month to dry one lot as you have to dry it slowly.

We can only do limited amounts, so we prioritize the batches that we want to focus on and dry them here."

And now Joselyn is back with 2025 ‘Dark Room’

  1. Arara Variety in Dark Room Series: Orange, Bright, Juicy, Sweet, Clean.
  2. Typica Variety in Dark Room Series: Cherry cake, Rosehip, Sweet, Round and Smooth.

Joselyn texted me again, "These are the best."

In spring this year, true to her word, Joselyn sent me new coffee as soon as she finished processing the first few coffee selections.

And just like she told me, I could immediately tell the difference with the first sip. The coffee was much cleaner and more delicate than before. It was clear that Joselyn, a producer with so much potential, had been working hard to improve her craft, and it showed again.

Holding the mug tightly, I savored each sip of this delicious coffee. I felt lucky and privileged to be one of the first to taste it. *Sitting right in my room*. It's a feeling I want to share with others.

01. Inspired by Farmers' Markets
We started with the idea of sourcing exquisite ingredients — just like at a farmers' market, where you won’t find excessive plastic packaging.

02. Thoughtful Design, Minimal Waste
Coffee is an experience, and we know how important the mood is. We love typography-focused designs, so we set our color board in black and white to highlight the vibrant coffee farms with their signature colors inside our box. While we appreciate great packaging, we dislike waste even more. That’s why some of our events come without delivery boxes or pamphlets.

03. Minimalist & Functional Packaging
We serve producers' coffee in a sleek, minimal FSC paper box with an attached valve to prevent oxidation and maintain quality — eliminating unnecessary plastic waste.

04. A Personal Touch
Instead of unnecessary pamphlets, your coffee arrives in a simple yet functional bag, along with a handwritten note from the producers, personally addressed to you. Because good coffee speaks for itself.
