There was a moment when I simply felt it—beauty. The beauty of still being able to see her face, to share conversations, and to taste the result of her dedication and effort in a single cup.

'Joselyn Fallas', a woman coffee producer in an industry where women are still rare, is truly extraordinary. And as always, she continues to evolve—experimenting with new varieties and processes.

This time, I am honored to taste something entirely new from her: Joselyn’s first washed coffee with 'Yeast Experiment'. She has crafted the Arara variety using a washed process, paying meticulous attention to the fermentation stage. That effort is unmistakable. Joselyn worked with a yeast company to experiment with fermentation to remove harmful bacteria. With selected quality yeast, the coffee carries vibrant orange notes, an irresistible sweetness that makes your mouth water, and a smooth, clean finish.

Last spring began with her coffee, and this spring does too. A cup so sweet and silky, it feels like a beautiful indulgence. All I can wish for is to start next spring with her coffee once again.

For many, coffee is just a daily ritual, a familiar presence. But for some, it holds dreams within it. For Joselyn, for me, and perhaps for you too. In February 2025, she completed processing this coffee, and by March, she roasts it—her first precious batch of the year.

Each CeedSeries pouch starts with a name—the name of the person who grew the coffee. It’s a simple way to remind you that behind every cup, there’s a real story. The outer paper feels soft and natural, thoughtfully chosen to complement and frame the producers’ own packaging inside.

Inside, you’ll find the true package: one with a valve to preserve the coffee’s flavors, prepared by the producer themselves. Often, a handwritten note is included too. These small touches turn coffee into something more—an experience of connection.

Even the delivery box is part of that story. It changes slightly with each release, reflecting the nature of coffee itself. Even from the same farm, each harvest brings something new. These changing boxes quietly celebrate how coffee, like people, is always growing and evolving.
